Honeywell UDC2800 Universal Digital Controller

Description

The Honeywell UDC2800 Universal Digital Controller supports up to 64 setpoint segments and four PID sets, with RTD, TC, mV, mA, RH, carbon, and oxygen inputs as standard, as well as two universal analog inputs, each sampled ten times per second. The first, or Process Variable input, can be one of the various thermocouple, RTD, or linear actuations. Linear actuations have thermocouple, RTD characterization capability as a standard feature. Linear actuations also have square root capability. The optional second input is isolated and accepts the same actuations as the first input. The UDC2800 provides for single loop control of furnaces, ovens, boilers, heaters, environmental chambers, cookers, dryers, and freezers. The instrument is ASM2750F aerospace standard compliant, as well as NEMA4X standard for food and beverage wash downs, and IP66 certified. The instrument is backwards compatible, retaining the same 1/4 DIN form factor, terminal arrangement and back panel as previous UDC2500 and UDC3200 models.
